Was taking a friend home from the airport yesterday and came across a tricky situation with a loose dog in his neighborhood. My friend is NOT a Tesla fan (I am working on it), and is skeptical about FSD. On this trip, my Cybertruck had already taken a friend of his home from the airport and...
I haven't. Really haven't had the need to use a non-Tesla charger in the last 3 years. I have used some (Chargepoint) but mainly out of curiosity and not necessity.
There is a supercharger station there that does have 8 stalls, the installation is complete as far as I know (I live 15 minutes from it) but awaiting Entergy to approve the install and turn on power. It has been install-complete for at least a week now, so it seems Entergy is slow to inspect...
I have two of them. The first is the most expensive (the installation, etc is bundled in). My first one ran 13.5K. The second (installed at the same time) was 8.5k. I am in central Arkansas.
Because a Cybertruck is essentially the equivalent of around 8 Powerwalls., and each Powerwall cost around 8K after the first one. That is essentially 64K in value if you need it. I have the same setup (Solar, 2 PWs, and Gateway) BTW.
Zero issues with mine. I also came from a 2020 MYP to the CT, love it, no regrets and no visits to service or any issues at all with mine. Pro-tip - uninstall the rear view mirror immediately. Worthless and distracting.
Why don't you trust FSD? Just stay aware and be ready to take action. I've been using it for the past 2 years (first on my 2020 MYP and now with my CT AWD) and it has gotten to be really good. Used it on a 300 mile road trip and only had to touch controls when I stopped to charge. I use it...
I got the same email (was already subscribed for $99). Clicked through the link and got the 1 year trial. Checked my Tesla app and the paid subscription was gone and the trial appears to have started. This is AWESOME! I was gonna keep paying for it anyway but just saved $1200 over the next...
I got the AWD (non-foundation) and love it. I wouldn't be a buyer of the Long Range at that price. An extra 10k for AWD, powered hard tonneau cover, better interior, rear screen, etc? Worth it IMO. I think a better price for the LR would be 15-20k less than the AWD.
My credit score is 782 and I got a rate better than the advertised rate (.1% lower), pretty sure I would get the 1.99% if I hadn't bought mine 2 weeks before the promotion. I would think 768 would get the lowest rate.
