My guess is Tesla is probably using June to gauge actual demand for the SAWD. A reservation is one thing, but once pre delivery tasks are completed, they'll get a much better sense of how many reservation holders are ready to convert into actual buyers.

I agree. Pre delivery task always included the VIN for me as well. Maybe they are trying to gauge how many of the reservation holders are serious buyers.

I couldn't get past step 1 because it wouldn't let me change the expiry date of my license. Defaulted to today's date with an error message to enter a date in the future but the field was greyed out. I called Tesla and they filled out the info for me. Now I am step 3, with a check back later...

A supplier of mine in China made these. I had asked him to inquire about making a 100 or so of the Cerberus and he said the pricing they gave him was ridiculous. So he ended up buying a 3D printer and just got these done. Not sure if he will make these in large quantities.
