When you say "go to the parts shop", do you mean I go to a service center and ask them to look up my VIN? Or there is an online DIY portal for this info?
I think you win :ROFLMAO:
I'm also a solar + Powerwall owner, and debating 1 vs. 2 of the UWCs. My hesitation against going for two is... do we think (eventual) Cybertruck V2H will not work correctly with >1 UWC on the same circuit? I don't have enough capacity for dual 60A circuits, one for...
I bought a full-size Core wheel from eBay for ~$300 and put a new OEM Scorpion tire on for another $500. Then I got a case + jack/wrench for ~$150.
All this normally stays in my garage, but thinking of hauling it all along for a cross country trip in July.
I didn't like spending nearly $1K to...
Funny that >75% of the songs listed here have heavy/extreme dynamic compression. Which leads to distortion, and just overall poor sound quality, especially at higher volumes.
With few exceptions, most pop tracks from the past 30 years were mixed/mastered with a ridiculous amount of compression...
Interested as well! We have 4 EVs - two NACS, two J1772. Getting by with a single Gen 2 Tesla Wall Charger.
But I just ordered a new Universal Wall Connector, as I want an electrician to move the charger location a few feet so the cable can reach four cars, instead of just two today.
Debating...
States have different methodologies for calculating buy back price (aka offset).
I'm not sure if "fair" is the right way to think about it... it's not typically negotiable.
@Gaximus
I think my solution looks very OEM, people I show it to cannot tell it’s DIY.
Also if you look at the print design, the MagSafe itself is not embedded in the print, and only has the layer of suede between it, and the phone. So it’s essentially as strong as a direct connection
Yes, the...
While I appreciate that is solving the real problem (misalignment of phone to charger coils), I think it’s an incomplete solution.
Mostly because you’re not using OEM Apple MagSafe chargers, and since you’re splitting the USB-C, it can only deliver <15w to each device.
And you’ve got that key...
Although a have an empty slot to add another 60A breaker, I've already seen my grid draw hit 153A during peaks... I don't think code or any sane electrician would let me put another wall charger on this panel (200A max).
Unless they'll do it, with a hard limit configured on the wall charger...
