I have full appreciation for how hard it is (both software and hardware) which is why Iâm pessimistic theyâre going to deliver on this âmicro factoriesâ approach.
Itâs Tesla (Elon, really) with the âover the top rhetoricâ and you know it. And so does everyone else.
I put my money where my mouth is, and Tesla should too. Until they actually provide HW3 cars with these upgrades, everyone should remain skeptical.
By the time Tesla has dragged their feet even more on this (3 more years?) there wonât be that many HW3 owners with FSD that still care and/or havenât moved onto a AI4 car. If you really want/care about FSD that much, youâll have moved on by then, so âpublic backlashâ will just be a weekend...
I ran out of optimism for HW3 about a year ago.
Letâs not forget summer 2024 when Elon said AI5 would be in all Tesla cars by the end of 2025. And now in early 2026, AI5 isnât going in cars, until Tesla can no longer physically produce AI4, which could mean 10 years (yes, Iâm sure AI4.1 that he...
Tesla has also âexpressly statedâ that HW3 could achieve unsupervised FSD

I guarantee they will drag their feet on this and make it so customer-unfriendly that it wonât come to fruition in any meaningful way...
Plenty of sources but this is verbatim: https://www.theverge.com/transportation/917167/elon-musk-tesla-hw3-fsd
You can tell by the tone of his voice that these 'micro factories' to do the retrofits are simply something that popped into his head. There's not a real plan or timing for any of this...
If you're goal is really to help out the community, you could be more explicit with your review title or conclusion, i.e. "Teslovix bed divider beats discontinued OEM Tesla divider but TBD on the version you can buy now".
We have to assume you're getting affiliate commission from your Teslovix...
Tesla no longer sells the version of the divider you're reviewing/comparing to the aftermarket version.
So the real value and engagement would be to compare head-to-head against the current Tesla version that has removable feet, and as such accommodates the height of bed liners.
Going to post my review of Cyberbrite in this thread instead of creating a new one :)
More than two months ago (before I even picked up my CT), I contacted Gary/Cyberbrite regarding an offer of a sample.
Gary arranged for me to receive a sample at no charge, and no expectations. I was not...
It's all over the map at my service centers. I've taken my S Plaid in for service and gotten a Cyberbeast loaner (via request). But when I actually took my CT in for service, they had zero loaners available and I got a $100/day Uber credit instead.
Agreed. I'm getting comfortable enough that I could see myself using it to 'come get me', even several miles away. Not that we have a line-of-sight to such feature, but we're getting close from a capability standpoint. And I've been using FSD since 2021.
Looks good.
I just did the top of the tailgate, and the tailgate surface itself.
Kinda crazy how easy it is to install (with some patience, of course!) and how nice it turns out.
Time will tell if it holds up, but assuming it lasts 3+ years, it is definitely a nice mod.
