I prefer 18” rims/tires. Better ride - especially without air suspension. Better traction to run at lower pressure when off-roading and more tire options. I may eventually replace the steel wheels with aftermarket. But really, no interest in the larger 20” wheels.

Actually, if you use Tesla's route planning (navigation), it will factor in hills, temperature, and wind when estimating range and recommended SC stops. I use it all the time when I go up to Mammoth and back to SoCal and it's pretty accurate.

My suspicion/guess the delivery dates have to do with the ramp-up of the new “dry cell” 4680 batteries. Interesting tech and should significantly help with CT margins.

Ideally, Tesla offers the battery package and interface, allowing you to install the battery set-up on any trailer that can have it installed safely. I saw this interesting set up at the Inyokern SC last week. It appears it had either self propulsion or augmented the CT.
