On another posted, a commenter mentioned that the new DM AWD (SAWD) CT does not appear to come with the offroad package.
For reference, the Off-road package consists of front/rear lockers and a variety of trail modes:

No offroad mode would be a major disappointment and probably a deal breaker for me. Not sure I'm willing to pop $20K more for the offroad features either. Nowhere does Tesla state lockers and off road mode are not included in the DM AWD CT.
In fact, the Tesla website explicitly states Off...
NO Off Road Modes?? Does that mean no front/rear lockers??
I don't see how air suspension is required the following offroad modes:
- Overland Mode: Tailored for low-speed technical driving.
- Terrain specific modes: Sand, Gravel, Rock. Even my Daughter's Jeep Renegade has this.
- Braking...
My hunch Telsa is only quoting deliveries for those originally in the June-July timeframe. Everyone else is now "2027" until they get can ramp up. I ordered early on Wed, 2/25, RN 1271871XX, original delivery date was Sept/Oct....now the generic "2027"....we'll see. Based on my Model 3...
I was puzzled with the response stating the Terrestrial Armor Package was installed post-delivery and asked a few times, but that's what they said. I figured it must be cheaper for Tesla to build standard configs vs adding options on the production line....but didn't really buy that. And yes...
I spoke with the Tesla Service Center in Temecula last weekend about the Terrestrial Armor Package - my concern is I didn't want to delay delivery if I added to the order if some reason Tesla is out of stock or reprioritizes (delays) my order as a result of adding the package. The Service...

Current Delivery Date per Tesla Service Center (Temecula) 2027
In the White Mountains, across the Owens Valley from the Sierras, you can drive up to 12,000' along the White Mountain Road. The road ends at the research station nearby.
Yes, we experienced that with our Model Y - wanted change the wheels style, but Tesla would not let us without canceling the order. This was back in 2022 when our order price was well below MY pricing at the time - kinda like how the SWAD pricing is now.
Interesting. Maybe wait and add post delivery, albeit it's $500 more.
When is the latest I can change the order? After Tesla contacts me to discuss delivery, or?
I have an order in for the $59.9K CT. Placed it on Feb 25. Sept/Oct Delivery Date (who knows if that's accurate). I didn't order any options. I'm now considering adding the Terrestrial Armor Package, as I plan on taking the truck off-roading. Appears I can log into my Tesla Account...
I prefer 18” rims/tires. Better ride - especially without air suspension. Better traction to run at lower pressure when off-roading and more tire options. I may eventually replace the steel wheels with aftermarket. But really, no interest in the larger 20” wheels.
Agree. I think this is the primary driver for the delayed ramp-up - the dry electrode anode and cathode 4680 Battery cell is now ready for production.

Actually, if you use Tesla's route planning (navigation), it will factor in hills, temperature, and wind when estimating range and recommended SC stops. I use it all the time when I go up to Mammoth and back to SoCal and it's pretty accurate.
My suspicion/guess the delivery dates have to do with the ramp-up of the new “dry cell” 4680 batteries. Interesting tech and should significantly help with CT margins.
Ideally, Tesla offers the battery package and interface, allowing you to install the battery set-up on any trailer that can have it installed safely.
I saw this interesting set up at the Inyokern SC last week. It appears it had either self propulsion or augmented the CT.
