I’ve been pondering this data set. Time for some guesswork!
There are 144 reservations in the tracker. Half of these reservations were on the 22nd or before, the other half are on the 23rd or later. So, one half of the reservations were made in the first 4 days and the second half were made...
No, it was an attempted funny! The only thing I'm sure of is the folks at Tesla are smart and want to create happy customers. No system is perfect and clearly their "delivery prediction" system is wonky.
My order just went to 2027 after being stable at July/August for a long time. Do I think...
What is the mean and the median of the reservation data? Although not statistically valid, this sample shows most people ordering pretty early in the 10-day window.
Look, the 59K Sawd cybertruck is what it is, a smoking good deal on a terrific truck. Whining about our anxieties with the delivery dates is such a complete waste of time. It will show up when it shows up, and not a minute before.
End of story.
I ordered at noon Mountain time on the 24th, during that short window where the order page said sept-oct.
Delivery is New Mexico on an Indian reservation. Can I say that?
OMG! My delivery estimate just moved up from Aug 6 to Sept. 17, to July 15 to Aug 5!!
I bought a bunch of goodies like floor mats and the cool console during Amazon prime day and everything is now here. Excitement is peaking!
Depends on your definition of negligible. A few percent for running boards, a few percent for under inflated tires, a few percent for driving 80 instead of 75, a few percent for not using FSD. It all adds up.
I’m setting my rig up for road tripping. It’s also for making dump runs etc., but I want it to be as efficient as possible on the highway. I deleted the terrestrial armor because although cool, I’d be paying $3000 and almost 200 pounds extra weight for the coolness. I’m not going to be doing...
I bought it as soon as it was offered for my MY. Within 10 days a rock hit very close to the top of the windshield and started a crack which of course propagated. The service center replaced it while I drove around in a cyberbeast for a couple of hours. At checkout he started to say “that...
Same here! Southern New Mexico, over 6000ft elevation. 6.4kw solar system. New Mexico has a great Net Metering program and we have over 4MW hours in the bank. Monthly bill runs $16. Currently running a heat pump and charging our model Y is about break even. Adding the Cybertruck will push...
No, but I need to pop over to the storage unit and I’ll take a couple of pictures. Looks like the center cap has a little hole for hooking and opening.
These are from Paradox in Utah. Not as cheap as directly from China, but the supposedly did a bunch of engineering for higher strength and best aerodynamics. No truck to test them on!
Mine came in a month ago and my ETA is Aug-Sept., so they are in storage. I bought mat silver (personal preference) and I’m loving your center caps. I’ll be changing mine for sure!
Apologies for not knowing how to post on this forum!
Please add my reservation to the tracker.
