I had my brother pick up my 2026 model Y for me when it got delivered because I was out of town, it wasn't an issue at all for the delivery center. The deliver center just told me he needed to have access to my account.

The low margin $59k DM is not a high priority for Tesla right now. I’m sure leadership is counting on impatient reservation holders to switch to the $80k Premium trim to speed up the delivery time.

No, it was an attempted funny! The only thing I'm sure of is the folks at Tesla are smart and want to create happy customers. No system is perfect and clearly their "delivery prediction" system is wonky.
My order just went to 2027 after being stable at July/August for a long time. Do I think I'll have to wait until 2027? No!
I feel for those who really need their new truck for primary use. They are suffering with the weird changes we are all seeing. For me, waiting is actually better, gives me more time to save up.
I think everyone should provide feedback to Tesla that the AI predictive system doesn't work. The more feedback they get, the more likely they will change it. If this topic isn't funny, then it's sad. I lean to the funny.

Just got done doing one final test drive. Was with the premium all-wheel-drive though here in North Carolina. Just wanted to make sure I was making the right decision before I accept a delivery and make my wife feel like I was doing my due diligence. Guys we are getting so much vehicle for the money we are paying. The Tesla sales rep didn’t even know what I was talking about when I said I reserved one for 59,000. She said we’ve never sold them for that price lol
She said at that price we got the deal of a lifetime! I know this delivery process is testing all of our patience but I think it is going to be well worth the wait. Today’s test drive just made me even more excited to get this truck delivered. Also spoke to a sales manager, and she looked internally at my account and they can only see the same thing we are seeing. I have a September 6 – September 30 delivery and she could only see the same thing. Hang in there guys! This truck is worth the wait!

With exception to a couple of outliers, I'm surprised deliveries have not reached February 21st pre-orders.

I wouldn’t rely too much on the Ai delivery dates now. Mine also changed from June to September to 2027 and then all of a sudden 2-3 weeks for delivery only to be issued a VIN and delivery within a week.
I still think a safe estimate for deliveries would be 1-2 order day(s) per month. I think we may see June 21 reservation deliveries start towards the end of June since the $59K 10-day sale was not broadly advertised. It was only until day 2-3 before word really spread.
