Has anyone tried to retrofit the signature head lamps? Are they actual different bulbs or a software paywall? I wonder whether it makes a noticeable difference in light output or if it is more for cosmetic reasons.

Heavily depends on the height and age of the rider. Anyone 5’7” and shorter will thank you for adding running boards. So far, it’s been my favorite and most useful mod.

Well I picked up the vehicle and quite honestly, I'm not surprised the warped distortion is still present. The service advisor says the technician confirms the windshield was replaced with a new windshield and what I am observing is "within normal operating specifications," ... whatever that means.

Well this was a much faster fix than I imagined. In and out the same day! Fingers crossed they did a good job without causing other issues in the future 😂

Dropped the car off this morning. Service advisor and head technician said it’s the first time they have seen this issue on a Cybertruck. They’re providing me a loaner as they couldn’t say for sure if and when they could diagnose and fix the issue.

Yep. I liked the minimalist yet functional look and style of it. I bought the discounted “cosmetic blemish” one but it’s just a flesh wound. You can’t even tell from the photos and I can’t even remember which side had the blemish mark.

Can you imagine the uproar if Q2 deliveries used up the remaining rear bench seats with no armrest and Tesla decided to deliver Q3 DM CTs with newly added armrests? 😂

Thank you for the link, @devdrone6 . Didn’t know this was even an option but love the clean look. Unfortunately, I didn’t look into the instructions and had installed running boards a few days ago. The rear replacement requires taking off the running boards. Will have to do it some other day:

I debated whether or not to address the issue because it is so labor intensive and wouldn’t want future creaks and leaks with tinkering with the original windshield, but my windshield is very noticeable and I cannot unsee the distortion whenever I look to the right.

There’s another thread in the subchannel regarding this topic. I picked up the $59K DM 2 weeks ago, and it’s pretty bad. I would say the whole bottom right quadrant has the warped distortion. I am scheduled for service next week...
