I am going to let mine sit in the drivers seat and I am riding shotgun. It is self driving - right?? and my dog will get a lot of looks from people gawking at the Tesla Truck and then will really have a fit when they think a dog is driving it. :)
Nope- just a consumer (owned 1 Dodge Ram, 2 Ford F350s, 2 Ford Rangers in my life) - preordered a CyberTruck and 3 years into a wait and so my reservations number delivery slotted for April 2026- I also saw all the Quad orders move to the front of the line.
Yeah, that’s exactly my point. I’m at the point where I might just say I’m not waiting another three years. But of course what do I have to lose it’s only $100 deposit. Even if I put that in a mutual fund it wouldn’t be more than $95 now. :)
Let me clarify I don’t mean it’s been six years now but I originally ordered in March 2020 and right now according to the rollout list I will not receive my Tesla until April 2026. So my math says six years since my initial order.
Given Quad Motor have taken over first production roll -out; how long are you willing to wait for your CyberTruck - I am at 6 years now given priority has shifted based upon Quad and Tri-Motor priorities. Will you be willing to wait 5 years or more or eventually will you shop elsewhere?
Interesting, you bring us some interesting thoughts on this... With the air tank - I wonder how many Owners will be faithful in their daily shut downs and draining of liquid within the tanks. I go back (30 years ago) driving CDL type trucks and had to drain the airbrakes at end of day to drop...
Agree - You should not assume brand loyalty will slow the Cyber Truck purchases. I have been with FORD since 1974 and have owned 4 Ford Trucks and the last two were F350 Super Duty Diesels. When the Cyber Truck first debut hit, I thought no way not me... and within 4 months I reserved one and...
