    Did they say taller? I thought they just had greater density. If they do plan for taller cells, that would explain the space in the pack.

    For reference, the Model Y pack did NOT have the large space above the batteries: So this space is different than the past, whatever its purpose.

    I don't see the half empty either. But I do see it as 60-70% full, which is interesting. They can't double stack batteries there, but the space is interesting.

    Munro & Co. have begun their teardown of the Cybertruck battery. Interestingly, there is a lot of space above the cells. It doesn't appear to be enough for another layer, but it is a curious amount of emptiness. Is it needed for cooling? Could the originally-planned double-stacked pack...

    looks like a very small impact area on both cars, ie they almost didn't hit each other. But that small area means the force/area would be very high and rip things apart on both vehicles.

    Reality is rarely in the middle. Cybertrucks aren't rusting from rain. A few got some crap on them that needs to be scrubbed off.
