A lot of people like a smaller 5 passenger vehicle. It's the best selling segment. The larger 3-row style is the second-best selling segment, so ideally automakers want at least one vehicle in both.

A crossover is a car-based SUV, so both Y and Y LLL are crossovers. A "true" or traditional SUV is truck-based, like a Suburban or Yukon or Bronco.

I think it will sell like hot cakes. I think the proportions look a little nicer than the standard Y, too. The shorter model is a bit blobby.

I think we had a poll on here earlier and reliability was extremely good, something like 95% "no problems". The major issue that has affected significant numbers is the PCS failure. I suspect it won't be a big problem moving forward.
