Hey everyone. My fault here.
I just canceled my cybertruck order because I can't afford the awd at that price point.
After cancelation I realized the card used for the deposit was canceled about 2 years ago.
I called 888-518-3752 and I was directed to my closest dealer in Chicago.

My 2 cents...
The frunk is definitely shorter. I hated it initially, but it has grown on me. Looks like a warthog as others have said, and it will probably fit in my garage better. Plus I won't have to suck it in as much when walking in front of it.
I'm convinced the wiper was a total...
I'm on the list for a dual motor cybertruck and a Ford lighting. I just got an email saying starting Thursday I build and order a ford lighting.
Long story short... Convince me to NOT buy a Ford Lighting.... Here's what's currently swaying me... More predictable delivery date, and $20k less (I...
Call me crazy, but I don't like any of the changes. Curved glass aligning with smooth glass? Looks wonky to me. That bed looks shorter, my guess is 6'. No one wants a smaller frunk, and even if the inside capacity is the same, you've now made it harder to load larger items.
You aren't supposed to transport refrigerators on their backs, so he's saying it will have to be strapped into the overhang, which can't be as strong as the truck bed.
Well, EVs are a stop gap solution to hydrogen, which is a stop gap to air powered, which is a stop gap to alien technology, which is a stop gap to all us either being in the matrix, or the world ending from global warming.

Only the single motor cybertruck would qualify according to this article.
I know this is an old post, but there have to be at least 2. The test driving that occurred after the demo didn't have broken glass. I just realized this myself and it sent me here looking for answers.
Yeah, when you factor in maintenance, they definitely come closer. Here in Wisconsin, rust is an issue and both of my vehicles have body rust. The stainless steel is a huge selling point for me so I'm willing to pay more to get more. Thanks for your reply!
I'm the same as you, but the electricity cost would take you probably 10 or more years before the solar panels would break even. I still want it though
My number one reason is the stainless steel body. 1- it's cool to say that it's the same material as rockets. 2- I live in the rust belt and am happy that I won't have to deal with a rusting body.
I switch from single to double solely for the all wheel drive. I live in Wisconsin, where winter lasts 3 months. While I feel the snow hasn't been that bad lately, it only takes one accident to make me question why I didn't spend the extra $10k when I can afford it.
For anyone that stumbles across this thread, here's my answer.

Yes, it will be more expensive to drive the CT then compared to my Prius. Again, I know it's apples and oranges, but I just find it very misleading that MPGe DOES not really relate to MPG. In my...
Thanks for the reply! Certainly comparing the prius and cybertruck are apples and oranges. Again, at face value with the Cybertruck MPGe at 70~80 (maybe more) I just assumed it would be an instant cost savings. It's well within the realm of possibility that I'm a total idiot but it seems like...
Yeah, good point, I didn't mention that. It's a 2006 titan. I only drive it occasionally for errands and home projects. Not many miles put on. My prius is 95% of my driving.
Hey everyone,
I've probably read this article a zillion times: Cybertruck MPGe
I'm struggling however to fully understand MPGe. I currently drive a Prius and a Nissan Titan. The cybertruck will replace both. With all the math I'm doing, I'm struggling to see how I'll be saving money. If I...
