Wade Mode Test! Shows How Deep Cybertruck Can Drive in Water 😱

Buttons seem to be the only issue here. Everything else could have been avoided by going at lower speeds, definitely important while traveling through high water with any vehicles. Plenty of people each year have vehicle damage from driving quickly through a semi deep puddle.

Best Gas Generator for Cybertruck range extender??

I think it's important to remember that while superchargers are on another level and clearly the better choice when available. Other public chargers are available. I know that the place I go backpacking every summer actually has a fast charger only 10-15 minutes away. With more and more...

Wiper blade issue - blurry streak

This was my biggest worry for such a large wiper. The downward force applied by the arm needs to be enough to clear the water in a clean sweep. As a Canadian, this could be even worse in the winter when bits of ice are on the wiper, but I'm sure the heating element under the wiper will help a...

    REAL reservation numbers are...?

Capacity doesn't mean they expect to make that many yet. They could run the line far far slower than what is can actually go to ensure early quality and fix any issues. There could also be supply issues that can slow down the line. As for a million reservations, I highly doubt it. There...

TESBROS center console wrap - Matrix Black

I agree. It looks nice but I just feel like it wouldn't look right without a little more. It's not really for me either way, but the general design could look very good inside the Cybertruck.

2 weeks of Cybertruck ownership and happy with range numbers. You'll be very happy.

i'm glad there is finally someone to show what I have been saying all along. The range tests we've seen are mostly highway speed range tests or towing tests. They are showing the worst efficiency you are going to get with real life driving. Those range tests are still important, you would...

First service appointment completed: tailgate lightbar cracked glass & stained running boards

With a dealership, you are a customer of the dealership, not the manufacturer. Most times, you are selecting from their inventory that they have already inspected after it arrived. Does this mean you will find less faults through a dealership? generally yes. and you get the benefit of...

Inozetek Metallic Midnight Green Cybertruck Vinyl Wrap 🔥

I am not going to wrap it, but if I had the option to wrap it for free, as a lot of early owners had this option, I would. Stainless steel is definitely my favorite, but it is nice to have it a different style once you are used to it. I like the midnight silver that my Model 3 is in, but...

    Naming your Cyberbeast?

I'm going with Handles. I'm a doctor who fan (if you don't count the past 6 years). There was a Christmas special where the main character had sort of a friend that was the robot head from a 'Cyberman' called Handles. As soon as they announced the Cybertruck wouldn't have handles, I knew...

Avoid Getting “Keyed” ? [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Little scratches here and there will be 'visible' at the right angle and light, but it won't be like a regular car getting keyed, where the mark is an eye sore whenever you approach your vehicle. Anything minor but more significant, would require someone have something with them that could...

Bar Keepers Friend steel cleaner applied -- result photos

From the information available that I've read, I would say BKF is more of a occasional detailing. Kind of how I wash/wax my model 3 usually every 3 months. I'm not a Cybertruck owner yet. But I think for most day to day cleaning needs, soap and water for dirt and windex seems to be best for...

    Nema 14-50 charge rate.

So I don't know if other people have experienced this when using their mobile chargers. But I will say that it's entirely possible that it has nothing to do with the truck or the charger at all. I have no knowledge at all when it comes to RV parks, but maybe the supply is being split...

3 Motorcycles hauled in Cybertruck bed 🏍️🏍️🏍️

I imagine as long as you are positioning your straps with two of them in there, you could probably reach it with the third one in by standing on the tire, as long as you aren't really short, and secure it to the bed.

Owner: tonneau bed cover is pretty water resistant and my consumption is 468 Wh/mi so far

Yeah I don't think we will have to worry about water getting in here, especially with the tonneau cover closed. It seems well made to divert water, which probably flows under the truck. It would take a lot of water to overload the drain system and leak into that area.

Taking Cybertruck through Automatic Car Wash (Finally)

I think you misread my comment. I will 'take' the truck to a manual carwash. Just the carwashes that you drive into a bay and there is a pressure washer there for you to use. The automatic carwashes, touchless or not, often use a bunch of extra stuff. As seen in the detailing videos, a lot...

Taking Cybertruck through Automatic Car Wash (Finally)

I think I will take it to manual car washes and use the pressure washer myself. Personally I'll just keep it simple with soap and water and only use the current best known method. Which seems to be windex for a nice shine and barkeepers friend (liquid) for any black spots. I also don't...

    DELIVERED! North Texas

I'm on the other side of this. Someone who has reconsidered due to price, but placed the order, configured, accepted delivery, just to give someone else the opportunity to pay 65k to rent a vehicle for 6 months. A period that they might not get FSD or autopilot for, and Tesla is likely going...

    Camping Stove

I don't have any personal favorite. I often go backpacking, so I just have a little camp fire stove setup I bought many years ago. But with the Cybertruck, for more traditional one campsite camping, you have an easy option for electric cooking. I will probably take an induction cooktop with...

Is wrapping our only option? Patina

early vin that has gone through abuse? I'm getting more and more confused. Either this is a Cybertruck, just like the production models, with the same parts, that is being used in normal driver conditions. Or this is a Tesla owned vehicle used for testing, either same as production or one of...

Is wrapping our only option? Patina

corrosion....on a stainless steel truck not two months old? This is one of those moments that I would require proof to believe it is happening on even one of the Cybertrucks. This is one of the things that could actually cause the Cybertruck to flop because no one wants corrosion, especially...
