I own a Rivian r1t and a model 3 my reservation for the cyber truck won’t come up for a couple years so I have to wait to see how the Rivian is holding Up so far it’s so far been a great truck
I only get a 20% hit when towing this little 67 eriba puck trailer with my m3 and a 10% hit when towing it with my Rivian (but travel slower) will be towing a 22' curtis wright clipper with the cybertruck which is a very aerodynamic 2000 pound trailer
Yes that was my case, tired of waiting so jumped on my early R1T reservation. With early Rivian pricing and the $7500. rebate price came to under $66,000 for me but price jumped up for later reservation holders
I’m happy with my R1t later production, no fit and finish issues good size for me and I can drive it between Santa Barbara and Mammoth just using the Rivian charge net work which is free still may still get the cyber truck depending on price etc. towing my little camper and two bikes I get the...
with R1T the tire wear in conserve mode is caused by all the power going to front tires, if you do gentle starts tires are fine, I use conserve mode on trips and all purpose (power goes to both axles) locally
I have a R1t and in conserve mode it is rated at 350 miles which is easy to obtain (large pac with 21" wheels) but best to use all purpose around town to save tire wear.
I tow this 700 pound eriba puck trailer with my Model 3, small but can stand up in it with the pop top, has a large bed that converts to a dinette, little kitchen with fidge, stove and sink and only get a 20% hit on range.
this morning Rivian reservation holders received notice thay are backtracking the price increase and they will honer the original price if confiquered before March 1st
Retired and would replace my bmw x5 diesel with it, tri motor, use it primarily to drive to Mammoth from santa barbara to ski, tow my 1948 curtiss wright clipper trailer to vintage trailer rallies and road trips. I have a kona ev which is great for local trips and a small diesel motorhome for...
any thoughts on if the brake controller will begin to engage the trailer brakes only after the brake pedal is depressed or is it controlled by when the brake lights engage during regen mode?
