    Rust Spots/Corrosion is the Norm

As luck would have it, I just spoke to someone locally here in Austin, TX that took delivery. He's had it all over the place in the dirty, camping, and more. I asked if he's had any issues and he said "lol, no". He noticed some black dots, but it came right off. So, that suggests asphalt or...

    Rust Spots/Corrosion is the Norm

Agreed, and I'm all for it. I'm keeping an eye out for any corrosion stories.

    Rust Spots/Corrosion is the Norm

That won't end the way you think it would. First, leaving it under the water permanently doesn't do much of anything. Submerging it and then pulling it out to sit and dry won't be pretty. If you've ever been around watercraft, you'll know how crusty/flaky aluminum boats get from salt water...

    Rust Spots/Corrosion is the Norm

Exactly. I have never wiped down a vehicle, let alone a truck, after driving it. Closest I've come is running it through a car wash after a particularly dirty day.

Electric Coolers - worth the cost?

I'll find the model/brand, but I picked one up for my Model Y. Fits in the recess in the back perfectly. Keeps things cold. I haven't messed with freezing temps, but it's been fine and not too much of drain on the battery. Yeti + Ice is probably much better for specific trips. I like to keep...

Ford rescues CyberTruck in the snow

Not much to add to everyone's already great replies. But, for those that come across this thread, let me add another voice and perspective. My F250 4x4 would have been stuck and have required recovery.

Cybertruck reservation order number -- how to tell your place in line

Numbers don't add up. Buddy's reservation suggest almost 5 million pre-orders, which we know isn't accurate if we use the basic math used.

The end will come with a whimper not a bang

I don't see my tractors going anywhere, anytime soon.

Cybertruck and Semi will be in production end of 2022 and volume production in 2023 -- says Elon @ today's shareholder meeting

I took delivery of a Model Y last week. Glad to have it as a bridge to hold me over a little. I miss having a truck though.

Videos: Cybertruck in the wild with no door handles!

I took delivery of a Model Y yesterday. I made the order several months ago guessing that things would get delayed with the Cybertruck. First one occurred (obviously) recently. I think there will be more but 2+ years I don't know.

[CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS] "White House considers vehicle mileage tax to fund infrastructure"

I'm waiting for this. Had Solar and PWs installed, but I can see several excuses they'll use as power COOPs lose revenue over the next 10-15 years.

    Wallbox EVSE

So, someone else just mentioned this Wallbox to me. I'm in Texas and had no issues with power due to my Tesla Solar and PWs, but the notion of being able to use my CT for additional backup is extremely intriguing to me.
