Keep my truck.
Keep track of the RAM until its 500 mile variant is available.
If RAM sucks (not enough range or too high price); keep my truck until I feel the need to upgrade to a newer ICE truck. Which would probably be a RAM. But if I go for the full size rear doors, it could be a Ford...
I watched a video today and they mentioned the RAM EV actual reveal coming in a few months and that it would have the best in class stats for towing, payload, and range. Said it will be in production in 2024. I'm not sure about any of it. And I'm still really disappointed in their hyped-up...
Gives me even more hope that if something with crappy aerodynamics like this can get 600 miles then surely the CT we'll be getting this year will give us 500 miles!
Suicide doors parked next to another vehicle even if far enough away that all doors can be fully opened while trying to unload a shopping cart is nearly impossible. If you've had to do it, you understand, if you haven't it's hard to explain.
This issue is that you generally can't open the...
Huh?...In 2019, Tesla gave us prices, ranges, no suicide doors, (all I suppose are arguably subject to change) and they opened up reservations. RAM did non of this.
What are you talking about? Are you saying Tesla's reveal was worse than Ram's because we had that info and we're still waiting...
I'm glad we are mostly all in agreement this was the worst reveal ever for an EV. No price, no range, stupid suicide doors, no post reveal reservation option and he called it a concept.
And I was pulling for them dammit!! It was an epic fail on almost every notable front when it comes to...
Booo...no stated range. Booo...suicide doors.
Not sure how I feel about the induction charger being placed under the truck....though that automatic Roomba-like charger was pretty cool.
And yet we've driven 2 Ford Explorers, 2 Ford Rangers, an F250 and an F150 and no lemon problems. Routine ICE maintenance on a less then suggested schedule.
We don't sell or trade in until they were over 150k miles. My 250 was closer to 250k.
Ford as a whole is equal in quality to the...
Will it actually happen?

Anecdotally, I don't actually think they said the Ram EV truck is going to be called the Revolution. I think Revolution is their public input platform and greater program name to develop EVs for Ram. I could be wrong.
