unwittingly telling the everyone here that knows that you donât know much
and throwing strays, without bothering looking up the posts to have any basis for it hat youâre saying - lazy
those posts were saying, in short, âif you want to stop legit flippers, this wonât do it - itâll do as much...
As has been clarified but worth repeating: that is not how the provision works
and to further clarify how the provision works:
(1) Tesla has zero obligation to repurchase any truck, no matter the reason put forward by a buyer (and anyone expecting Tesla to be detail-oriented and emotionally...
The ride height cD changes arenât really that relative, in that:
(1) in street mode, the CT doesnât stick in those h nights and defaults back to low at speed
(2) in offroad the height sticks to a point, but whoâs fretting about eg high speed long distance efficiency in offroad mode

Yes, if by VIN, that number would include 130 ârestâ vehicles (110MCs and 20 showroom units), but would not include the VIN gaps remaining for Cyberbeasts (conceivably 300 or more).
Folks need to remember that, where it comes to VIN numbers, there are essentially two different vehicle streams...
oh hey, I get it!
with my business executive hat on, I slow clap for Tesla corporate.
but with my consumer hat on, Iâm left marveling at how many other consumers donât seem to mind the hypocrisy!
but separately, lower than marveling, who I *really* donât get are the consumers who are out...
which to me goes to show the intent of this program
Tesla knows there will be some blow-back to this program from existing orders and people with lower arms who still havenât been invited to even config
so what does Tesla view as the upside that outweighs this blowback?
Seems to me itâs...
oh they definitely are
Theyâve built very few beasts to date, and there are many people with beast configs before yesterday - who were getting EDDs of âmid to late 2024â
someone who configured a Beast tomorrow with an EDD OF 45 days is getting it sooner đ€Ł
yeah, clearly a sprayer is better than no sprayer!
And many backup cameras on many models have the issue of clarity in the rain, unless they are sufficiently tucked under some sort of awning feature in the rear.
And worth mentioning that the CT is not the only Tesla with this rear camera rain...
itâs not only a washer
a washer alone doesnât solve for how this camera is occluded when water itself is the problem (ie rain/snow).
it needs a solution for not only dirt/mud, but also weather conditions
which weather conditions, arguably, are when itâs most important to have sufficient...
so?
because the obvious sub-point to this discussion is that the camera solution provided by Tesla isnât up to snuff in someâs view
Just asserting that cameras/displays can sufficiently replace a mirror** isnât really relevant to whether the CTâs camera/displays do so
**meanwhile, not to...
