After reading thousands of post on many sites. My conclusions are ,
They don't care, period.
I was in my SC last week. I asked GM about delivery. He said """we have nothing to do with that, all handled out of Austin""". He only gives cards to new owner when told to by HQ.
Why, why, why has this simple task become so difficult???
The problem is, we are dealing with a ghost. My GM said he has nothing to do with the CT. All handled out of Austin. Can't Tesla CT HQ get this right??
If they give us a VIN?
We should have 2 choices
1. Electronic Funds Transfer
2...
Truck driver told me they were 8k. Tooo heavy for full load. Some r going by rail. But. Look a morning video. Hundreds parked. I was in Jacksonville SC last week. Boss said they have no control over them. Austin handles everything. He only hands over cards.
If. IF they tell us the truth up front on the instant they know it. We could accept that. Be brave, tell the truth the minute u know it. Don't act so dumb as to make everyone mad. It hurts the brand to hid this. Makes everyone mad.
Listen up Elon.
The GM at Jacksonville is Aaron Elington. See if he can get it straighten out.
I was there last week, . He told me that they have no control over the trucks. Austin handles everything.
I was shocked he said that.
But it's worth a try.
Good luck.
I asked NFCU, they said it's less hassle to take their bank check, as I have done with my last 2 purchases.
But my SC told me last week they were NOT involved in the process???
I was in Jacksonville SC yesterday. Two trucks parked out back. I asked GM why? He said they haven't gotten their act together.either financial or insurance. He also said they have nothing to do with any part of the process except to give owner the key cards after Austin released the truck...
They driving it. Playing like they learning what it does. There is NO inspection, by who? U can bet there not one trained CT repair technician in the SC.
