It just sucks. They've been making them for 4 months and several thousand units. Suddenly there is an issue? Will all existing trucks get recalled?

Yes. Suddenly there may be an issue. It happens. Would you rather have a truck that may have a major issue while you’re driving it? This seems like a no brainer.

It does suck and you’re not wrong to be disappointed but let’s all keep some perspective here.

Picked up mine last week. Headed to Tahoe today and got an error message about climate control in the cabin. Definitely something is wrong with climate but we still made it safely with one charge (from SF) with 20% to spare.
Absolutely love it but prepared for some quirks.

Just because a person buys an early run of a new vehicle doesn't mean they should expect seemingly endless issues on a 100k vehicle. I mean, Maserati only sells a few thousand of some of their cars and they don't have similar problems. Small things like creaks here and there, sure, but bricking a mile away after delivery or stuck accelerators, no.

Well...13 hrs before scheduled delivery time and just got notified it's been canceled due to an "unexpected delay". Weird because my truck was at the delivery location since yesterday.
I asked for clarity as to the specific reason and have been ignored. Lovely..

Ouch! I got a text yesterday from tesla informing me of the same. I received my VIN on Apr 10th, and schedules a delivery date of Apr 16th. Now, "an unexpected delay". Bummers man. Oh well, maybe it's better that they fix or find all the defects before i pick it up. I just have to be patient.

Wouldn’t them holding off on delivering trucks that may potentially have issues be the very definition of getting their act together? I understand the disappointment. My truck sat in Austin for three weeks before it even began its 1600 mile trip to California. I like to think it was held for a reason because I haven’t had any issues with it. Having the delivery postponed sucks, but I’d rather have a truck without issues then get delivered something they knew was faulty then pissing everyone off for giving them a truck on time that had issues.

You're absolutely right! I can imagine the stress on a person if they drive the CT off the lot and it breaks down on you. What a nightmare!

same here in NJ. Delivery dates were cancelled. It does suck. It is frustrating.
But much better to have a solid and safe vehicle than not. The disappointments will all pass and be forgotten once you drive away in YOUR cybrtrk. Patience.

I also got that text message about my Delivery scheduled for Monday the 15th I asked them how long I can expect this delay and they gave me an ETA of 4/20

Took delivery of my dual motor yesterday. So far mechanically good. Hope it’s something that is not dangerous (my kids love the truck and want me to take it everywhere we go) and can be fixed with OTA update
