Wish this came in black.

Cheers
Black is indeed a good idea. I'll see if we can develop black. Once there is an update, I'll keep you posted. Thanks for your suggestion.

I would think that black is going to be way too hot in the sunlight... That's why most car covers are silver or white/off white...

But a 'camo' one would be pretty cool... hehe... just realized that a camo one would 'stand out'... Kind of the opposite of what camouflage is all about...

the silver one makes the truck look like tinfoil jiffy pop to me. A black cover could still have a liner under it or they could make it a smoky metallized coating that still reflects. Anything but the look of jiffy pop. White would probably get dirty super fast. I had a dark gray cover on a black honda when i lived in Phoenix and it still did itโ€™s job FWIW.

Cheers

Haha, youโ€™re right! A camo cover would definitely be ironicโ€”standing out while trying to blend in! ? Black can definitely get pretty hot in the sun, so silver or off-white is a much cooler choice. But hey, a camo one would definitely be unique and fun to have, even if itโ€™s not exactly "camouflaged"! Thanks for the thought!

Haha, I totally get what you mean about the silver oneโ€”it definitely gives off that "Jiffy Pop" look! ? A black cover with a reflective liner or smoky metallic coating could be a great compromise, keeping the truck cooler without the shiny tinfoil effect. And you're right, white can get dirty fast. Your dark gray cover on the Honda sounds like it did the job well, even in Phoenix heat! Appreciate you sharing your experienceโ€”definitely helpful!

Cheers!

Happy holidays y'all. I just installed the Teslaunch Cyberbeast outdoor cover and y'all can be the judge of it. It took me about 10mins to install it without wind but with wind, I would recommend having a second person to assist, like most car covers, it is fairly thin and light weight, it would act like a sail in even the lightest breeze. It has all the proper corner reinforcements, zipper to access the driver's door, rear tailgate, charge port, front under the bumper vent, elastic skirts on both ends, and 2 buckle straps to hold it down.
The entire Cyberbeast is well covered. Only visible parts are the bottom 1/5 of the tires. The cover came package in a tote bag made of similar material. Pictures showed it next to my covered Model X Plaid. As you can see, the made for Model X cover is no where as fitting as the one for the Cyberbeast. We shall see how it stands up to our frigid and windy Texas winter.
FYI, fold in the mirrors before attaching the cover or it will not fit.
Hope this helps :geek:
