Based on their instructions video, it seems light Y connection into headlight circuit. On when headlights come on. I would also assume “off” when bright lights on??

this is how it works from my understanding, illuminates simultaneously with the headlights; no special way to toggle off/on

Found their install video on their website, not a simple plug & Play, have run wires back to fuse panel inside cab.

We will be doing a review on this product. We've inspected it and the install process already and it's not as daunting of a challenge as it appears on the surface. Having said that, there are a couple of special tools you WILL need. You'll need the standard socket set and the trim remover tools which usually comes in the box, but I've just spent money on a nice set only because I do this so often. That was $25 from Amazon. You'll also NEED a fishing tool to send the other wires through the door and frunk. This was $30 from home depot. I will put a link to that on Amazon at some point, but I put up all of the tools we use in the Amazon store. Lastly you need clips, clips and more clips. Tesla makes cheap panel clips and they're forever breaking.
