Driving home, at dusk with my dogs after going out for a quick dry run with my new RTT, and was unsure why FSD was slowing down. Well, it wasn’t!

But then again, with the stainless steel exterior, SprayAway glass cleaner takes deer splatter off too and it will look as good as new!
?

Seems like experiences hav have varied on that front, iirc, one member only had to replace a headlight but I think his truck was standing still and the deer came up and molested it. The one I remember actually hitting a deer still had to have a fair amount of work done to the truck.

But, I should note - because it’s not clear from the image at all this is a pretty sizable mule deer she’s just a good ways off and the picture is lightened up a bit so you can see the animal. It was quite dark!

Also, I should note that after five years of using FSD (since beta 10.x), this is the first incident I’ve had where I can say that FSD definitely saved me. I’ve had the early collision warning (sound) trigger me to hit the brakes, but this is the first scenario of this type for me!
