I know... It's a late review. I guess I lost track of time.
But I wanted to take a second to let you guys know what it's been like to own a CT since September 2021.
Back story:
As some of you may know, I sold my Model 3 in Mach 2021. I was planning to save up for CT because it was planned to release soon. Of course it got delayed so I ended up rocking my silveraydo for a little while. But when September rolled around I took delivery of the CT and never looked back! Since then we sold our silveraydo and bought a Model Y Performance, making us officially a 2 tesla household! (Now I just have to get my wife to get rid of the civic and we can be an all BEV family)
Once I moved past the honeymoon phase of owning the CT I was still in love with it, but it's flaws became apparent. Range degradation took a 10% hit in the first 10 months which really hampered our ability to tow long distances. Aside from the degradation, we've noticed that the speakers in the CT just arent as good as the ones in our MYP. I chalked this up to being weather proof however.
Now, I have heard a lot of talk about how big the bed and I willl say that ours has always been big enough to fit our needs. I can't speak to what you may or may not do with it but for us it is sufficient. I wasn't ever able to figure out how to get the vault to close though. The buttons dont appear to work on the infotainment unit.
As far as safety goes, this is the vehicle you want. It's almost like someone has a remote control in their hands that allows you to totally take your eyes off the road. LEVEL 5 HERE WE COME! I really feel great when im teaching my kids how to drive in it.
Being a bleeding edge early adopter has had it's downfalls though. My truck is similar to the petersen prototype in that it still has the door handles and doesn't have mirrors. It doesnt bother me that much but considering how big this thing is, i have a hard time fitting it into my garage.
I made the mistake of getting the rwd model so it basically feels like i never hit 60 when i do my 0-60 runs and the traction when I'm offroading isnt the best but im sure that you wouldnt have a problem with the dual motor versions.
Overall, I can't wait for the 30th when the next version comes out and I'll likely be selling this one so if anyone doesnt want to wait in line and is willing to get the old version let me know! We can figure out a price. I finally got out of the no-resell window.
oh and did i mention it is a FINGER PRINT MAGNET.. Highly recommend you get a bottle of Cyber Wash.

Edit: Adding proof of purchase for the naysayers.
Also, just so everyone is aware, the price is not model X level and does qualify for the tax incentives.

I did this too. I sold my M3 in March to save and then the pushback happened so I picked up an inventory MYP last week. Good luck
Review:I owned my 01 Silverado for the last 11 years! Now that the CT out (and im not really using it) I decided to get rid of it.
Who else is already making moves?
RIP Silveraydo.
