Exactly. We are repeatedly being f$&ked.
I don’t mean to sound bitter. I’m happy everyone is going to get to try FSD because it’s truly amazing.
I’m just still salty about them offering free supercharging months after I bought my truck and still not providing support for PowerShare with my powerwall 3 system.
I’ve spent more money with Tesla than most and feel like I’m always at the back of the line.

I had no idea about this when I purchased. 2025 Cyberbeast (non-FS). This email showed up randomly. I’ve been paying the monthly subscription.

Didn’t qualify for the free supercharging either at time of purchase.

Says to subscribe by June 6th to get the free trial. Might wait last minute since I don’t have road trips planed in the next few weeks.

EDIT:

Autosteer will not be available for Cybertruck outside of Full Self-Driving (Supervised).

This is more evidence of what I have been speculating: Tesla still needs millions more real Cybertruck miles to feed Dojo.

I think they are offering the free trial also as a "sorry autopilot isn't available (yet", (if ever?)).

Yeah, I’m in the camp of “people make arms length purchases with information available at the time and so be it”

But this is rewarding non-FS buyers who already purchased without FSD after their purchase as a nice surprise.

Another way to look at it is that instead of being the “most loyal early adopter FS base”, we are the suckers who will spend the money and buy the products without them having to add incentives. I get where they are coming from, it just pisses me off.

Yup to me this screams that CT FSD is nowhere close to where it needs to be and they need more data, I wouldn't be surprised if they extended free FSD to quarterly etc.

Got the same. Did the subscribe and immediately cancelled so assume you basically have to pay for a month? Says “In order to qualify for the 1-year trial, you will need to subscribe to Full Self-Driving (Supervised) by June 6, 2025, using the link below. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you will still receive the 1-year trial.”

I jut got the email. Non-FS buyer took delivery in September 2024. I was subscribing to FSD month to month so this email just saved me $1200. I'm happy, but understand those who feel frustrated it was part of the FS package or, worse, bought it on a non-FS model.

I’ve been fine with the incentives, lower prices, etc. I got to enjoy my truck for a full year longer and life is short. For some reason this is bothering me (retroactively rewarding all existing CT buyers EXCEPT FS buyers)
