The new Supercharger in Kayenta, AZ makes this trip easy to do. The chargers there are 250 kilowatt the same speed as the one near my house in metro Phoenix. They are located at the Burger King and inside the Burger King is a mini-museum dedicated to Navajo Code Talkers. Outside the Burger King are replica traditional Navajo housing structures, including a “male” and a “female” hogan, and interpretive plaques.

Tonight’s community movie is the John Ford / John Wayne classic “The Searchers.”

So….to unrough it we left the campground and headed for a fancy hotel in Tahoe to watch the apparently spectacular fireworks show.
I’ve never been out here. It’s breathtaking.

Just overnight. Headed to Vegas in am. We just heard that the fireworks show was pretty good here so we got a bougie room at caesars to watch it from. We’re celebrating my daughter Olive’s birthday so we ate at the Hell’s Kitchen place and now we’re having a little spa party in the room. All wearing masques and waiting for fireworks.
Definitely coming back here to explore.
Saw these cool little cabins on the way here in a place called strawberry. Seemed nice.

Damn. Epic firework show. I mean….like rivals Olympic Games i’ve been to.
Dont know much about Tahoe yet, but I can tell it’s got that good ”firework money”.
Happy 4th of July everyone. Hope it was an amazing screening. Wish I could have been there.

Yeah. It’s kinda big but it folds pretty small and doesn’t disable the truck which I like.
I have seriously thought about setting up the cybertent and backing it into one of the open ends though. Tailgate area at least.

Unfortunately the barge overturned in high winds and they were cancelled! Otherwise you would have had a great show ?

We saw some really good fireworks last night from the south shore. That was not the main event? Because it was awesome.
