Last week Tesla installed my Terrestrial Armor package, and I just installed all four of CyberTruck Co’s, control arm skid plates. Attached are some photos showing the underside install for both pretty well (for anybody interested in either of these). I did bead blast and powder coat the control arm skid plates with a satin clear to improve finish, but Im not sure I really needed to.

The only downside to this setup is it won't allow any aftermarket running boards. Yes, I'm aware that running boards will cut down on ground clearance which might defeat the purpose for those hardcore off-roaders.

For me, I would have liked both as I do light off-roading however wanted that peace of mind knowing my vehicle is completely guarded. The running boards, in my opinion, are not only functional but also enhances the visuals of the truck. Yes, I am aware (again) that I could simply turn on "Easy Entry", but I don't want the truck to constantly air up and down every single time I get in and out. The only time I use "Easy Entry" (and the running boards) is when my mom or dad want to enter or exit the vehicle since they're 80+ years old.

You have an awesome garage. Nice!

I think I’ll order the control arm skid plates. My truck is getting the terrestrial armor installed right now. Got an X as a loaner. First time driving the X, and this one only has 600 miles on it. FSD in the X is next-level amazing.

Thanks for posting!

I'd love to see the installation of the control arm skid plates. Do they screw into existing holes, or do you have to drill?

The install is super easy, each control arm plate has 3 bolts. You just remove the factory plastic shields (held in place with three 10mm head socket bolts), and replace them with the CyberTruck Co ones. The fit is actually perfect, they align right up with factory holes. They use three provided 4mm hex head bolts, rather than the original 10mm head factory bolts (as these fit into a pocket on their plates and are flush with their plates face). So anything scrapping on the plate face won’t hit the bolt head. Very clean and easy install.

I couldn’t find the skid plates for the rear of the truck on their website. Did your order the rear skid plates from CybertruckCo?

Yes, I ordered both from them at the same time, the site had said the rears were on back order (see my note on my order), but they actually shipped at the same time as the fronts. I just checked the site, I can’t find them now either! Super weird, maybe e-mail them.

Sorry, we discontinued them because there is not enough interest to keep selling them... We don't make what people don't buy. I'll add them to the site and sign up for notification, if we get enough guys we'll make another batch.

Bump for all those who are waiting on rear plates. Enough of us have paid deposits on these and they apparently just need a couple more to make a run of these rear control arm plates.
