yes, the stock panel is thin = not going to protect (the control arm covers are plastic FYI). Check this video:Is there a gauge difference in these Rival "Skid plates" vs the OEM "Undertray - Front Aeroshield" (as Tesla refers to it in the service manual) that these replace? I noticed in an earlier chat you said the Tesla OEM skid was Nylon (which also matches the pic in their service manual for the undertray), but my FSCB already has an aluminum one. I suspect at some point this was updated for stock Cybertruck or maybe just the Cyberbeast variant. Looking to replace the control arm covers for sure as those are nylon on by FSCB and debating whether the RIval skid has any benefit now.
I can go measure a stock vs Rival, but it's a night and day difference.
