59k VIN assigned am out of country

Hi All,

I am out of country and will return back to states end of July I already used my hold option and now I got another VIN and need to take delivery what are my options?

Proly message them on the app and beg them not to re assign it. I was in Thailand when mine come ready, I did all the paperwork in the app and gave my brother the app password and he picked it up for me. Parked it at his house 8 days untill I got back in USA.

Nope, but I called the service center and told the delivery manager what the situation was. She checked the account then said as long as everything was completed in the app and I trusted a person with the Tesla app password, they could press the “accept delivery” (final step) button in the app and drive off with it. Just know of there is a defect etc your accepting it, think you only have a few days and or 100 miles to report delivery issues.

You got lucky my delivery center is not accepting proxy pickup.

My delivery center was Pensacola FL. You could try it, worst case they ask to see it and it fails. Another option would be to ask if you can change the delivery center to the other there in ATL or a bit further away, figure then they have to get it shipped to the other center buying you a few days while they figure out those logistics.

Too much hassle, they should have something in place for these situation they are going to loose a potential customer not good for bussiness
