Sorry if I caused any confusion. I’ve just been messing with these for quite sometime and accumulated a little experience. Tried all the permutations and for me at least, the wave 3 with its battery plus another 1-2kwh power station is optimal. That’s exactly what Costco is offering at a very good price in my opinion.
I’d get the Costco bundle that looks like this…

Again, expensive and not for everyone but ideal for me in the cybertent.
I’d keep the power station inside the tent to power anything else you might want in there in addition to the air conditioner.
And…if you’re in a cybertent or anything else on the roof, I’d put an xt60 connector on the roof power feed and plug that into the xt60 input on the wave 3 battery for basically infinite run time.

I'm not familiar with the xt60 powerfeed you mentioned. In looking on Amazon there are several flavors. Can you recommend one?

So you want something you can easily remove and cap on the car side. The yellow end will go into your Ecoflow and the other end to whatever capped connector you choose to leave on your roof or frunk power feed. MC-4, Deutsch and Anderson are all solid choices I think.
here is an example.

I like deutsch connectors myself because they are reasonably low profile, nice and water resistant and also easy to cap.

There are definitely people much more qualified than me on here to recommend the best option. Anyone want to chime in?
Cable does not have to be very thick because at 48v , 400w is less than 10 amps so you can pick something easy to carry.
Length is a function of where you’re gonna put the air conditioner.

Ecoflow Wave 3 does a fine job. Its super easy to use, and the app-controller is user friendly and helpful. For using the heater, mine takes about 10 minutes of continuous running from the time you select heat until it starts blowing hotter-than-ambient-air through the hose. Also, the Cybertent does not hold heat well because of all the ventilation, so expect to need to bundle up in the fall and spring. Winter in the Cybertent is out of the question, even with a heater.

Yeah. Thought about a diesel heater but it seems a little contrary to the spirit of camping in a Cybertruck.

What do you guys think of something like this? The way I see it it’s a space heater with a tube so you can keep it outside the tent.

I'm surprised that the Wave 3 doesn't heat the small interior of the Cybertent very well! Seems like it should be able to handle that if you aren't camping in extreme cold. Most of mine will be 30's and above in the winter. I assume that the a/c does a better job in the summer... I'm in N.C. and it's gets pretty hot in July, Aug.

It’s better at cooling than heating for sure and excellent at dehumidifying which will be nice in Smokey mountain summers and even in eastern Carolina. Just make sure you set up the hose and enable drainage. Wave 3 is a little better at heat than wave 2. I have both. I went to med school at wake forest so I know the climate you’re asking about well.
it doesn’t heat well in extreme cold but a diesel heater is not something I’ve ever brought with me even in flagstaff with a fairly bougie family. I do recommend spreading an electric blanket out on the sleeping area. It’s considerably more energy efficient than blasting the wave 3. A bit of both would be ideal.

I have been playing around with the Wave 3 & Delta 3 plus and my Cybertent setup. What do you guys recommend:

-Both inside the tent venting the Wave 3 with two hoses out.
-Wave 3 outside the tent (in the truck bed underneath the tent) with one hose coming into the tent.
-Delta 3 inside the tent allowing access to oulets, usb, etc
- Delta 3 in the truck bed and run cords or multi-usb/c adapter from there into the tent.

Thanks!
