Accident

Sorry I am not bringing great news or hot topics, or good looking additions... but bad news.
About an hour ago I had the misfortune of hitting a deer... actually the deer hit me on the driver side a little bit forward the door area.
Needless to say, even though this brings an inconvenience, it is a fixable one.
But I am extremely sad for the fate of the poor and innocent deer who paid the ultimate price... still pondering all the "what-ifs"... such as having a coffee at home or getting on the road three seconds later... that is unfixable... and killing a beautiful living thing will haunt me for a while.
I need to know if anyone can recommend or knows where to find a Tesla official shop to fix the truck of the damage shown one the picture attached.
I live in the SOUTH-WEST area of Houston.

The official Tesla Collision center for our area is at 14520 Wagg Way Rd, Houston 77041. In the middle of nowhere.
My CT is there now for over a week for a new rear bumper. Waiting on parts. Estimate 3 weeks.
Can't imagine all you need will be any faster.. Sorry for your situation... Good luck!

I had a similar deer hit.. It took six weeks to get repaired and cost Insurance company 11k... Frunk is still not 100% right. Good Luck!

That sucks dude... I live on a highway that has one of the highest deer hits in the country. I have swerved from them all the time.

I had my CT worked on here after owning it only 1 month when I got hit by an idiot in a parking lot. They did a super job, communicated often, and went the extra mile to make it perfect.

Tesla hasn't yet enabled a "carve mode" for the BAW.

Sorry you have to deal with this. I would feel the same way if I hit a deer.

For body work I went to an official Tesla shop and the experience was good enough. I had my bumper replaced at:

@fdonatti Did you get any sort of collision warning? You shouldn’t, in my opinion. It’s more dangerous to take evasive action than to sacrifice the animal.

I really recommend deer whistles. CHP said they had an 80% less incident rate.

I called those guys and the other other shop at Jersey village… only two official Tesla shops in the Houston area…with whom I will be working with… simply because they have an earlier appointment date.:: they are already ordering the parts… thanks for the tip
