You know the deleted footage thing really had me thinking. It sure would be nice to have a valet mode that prevents deletion of footage. There is a use case with the rental situation here, but I'd like to have control of preserving footage when I loan the truck out to family or friends, hand the key to a valet, or drop the car off for tires. Is this at all possible? Like a special drive where all footage is copied to a secondary regardless of what Tesla software does to the primary drive? Just curious if this has been solved.

Install a Teslabox and lock it in the glovebox with a PIN code. You can also access the footage remotely.
