I had a situation this morning that I had the phone out of my pocket and I could see google was getting my command and it did not work. On the phone I could see "open gate" but nothing happened

do you have a special setting that Google will listen even in your pocket?

Not that I am aware of... But it's possible... I do know that when I give it commands and it's 'asleep' looking, it wakes up and shows my command as it's executed (and for garage door it verbally asks me for my PIN to open it)...

I just tried several commands (asked it a couple of questions, like the weather, how many ounces in a gallon, etc.) both IN my back pocket (had a hard time hearing me when I was sitting down...go figure) as well as just on my desk... Phone is 'locked' in all instances... Worked just as it should...

My phone is a Google Pixel 8, but it works on my wife's Pixel 7 as well as a Samsung (20 I think) that my wife used to use...

I have a Samsung Galaxy Fold. I want to get the new Tesla Pi phone as soon as it comes out. I see revues on youtube but do not have a firm launch date. Do you see or hear anything about a launch date for the phone and also the Tesla watch

Pretty sure that the Tesla Pi phone is a 'fake' one... They have had stories and pics out on the web for at least 2-3 years now that I am aware of...

IF they come out with one, I will likely get it also, not because I am a 'fan boy', but I figure it will likely use StarLink and we will probably switch over to that as well...

But so far, no Pi phone...

yeah, kinda funny they are reviewing something that doesn't even exist...

Elon is asked about this repeatedly... And each time he says that, No, they aren't planning on coming out with a phone and wouldn't consider it "unless companies like Apple, Google and Samsung started engaging in 'harmful practices'" - whatever that means exactly...

BUT, you never know... Maybe in a few more years... hehe...
