Adding CT to insurance before delivery

I have a VIN but no delivery date yet. Do I need to add the cybertruck to my insurance before or after taking delivery. Geico (my current insurance) is asking for a purchase date... which I don't have because I haven't taken delivery yet.

Also, wow. My insurance is going to more than double by adding the cybertruck (with two other vehicles).
