Has anyone had this issue? I got a VIN today and scheduled delivery for Saturday. I have completed all my tasks and I’m ready to go. Now, Tesla says they can’t deliver my truck because my insurance card is only good for 45 more days. They require 60. My insurance company won’t renew my policy early. So stupid!

The length requirement is probably to prevent drivers from buying short-perm policies to circumvent verification, and then letting it lapse.

Your insurance company will absolutely renew early. "Please cancel my current policy, effective today, and write me a new identical policy, effective today. If this is too much trouble for you, I will get my insurance elsewhere and will notify you when to end coverage and send me the pro-rated refund."

What CyberGus said. You need a new policy with longer expiration date, or a new agent - give them the choice. AND, this should not take more than a day.
