Good evening,

Wanted to check with the experts here..... I had my truck off-road for the first time over the weekend (BTW the good people of Crested Butte HATE this truck. I got the finger at least a dozen times for just existing). When I went to raise the suspension to HIGH, it took almost exactly 3 MINUTES. The back would go up slightly, then the front, then the back. I alerted Tesla service and they said it was "normal" for the truck to take several minutes to raise. In my driveway, it took all of 5 seconds and raised straight up. I tried again today twice, first time, 5 seconds, straight up. Second time, about 1 minutes and back and forth front to back.

Anyone have similar experiences, and is this "normal"? No error message received. Thanks!

Normal, my pump runs for a minute or two and says overheat and has too cool down before raising another few inches. Rise and repeat till I’m at max.

I wont have my CB till Friday, but on my Lexus LX600 if I didnt have the front tires straight it would take a time or get stuck a bit mid raise.

I use mine off-road a lot. It just takes a few seconds. I'm constantly switching in and out of Baja, and from high to very high based on the trail.

If the tank has been spent, it will take up to a few minutes to get you back up to high.

I wonder if it's using air while you're driving around?

Teh reserve tank is only so big. If it is full, it will take a certain time, if it's nearer empty, it takes another.
And then the pump that replenishes it has limits on how long it can run. Compressing air creates a LOT of heat and the pump can suffer.

If you've been on the road or trail driving, the system has been in constant use already.

Outstanding feedback, all. Thanks very much for the replies. This all makes sense and I suspect the system is working as advertised. I wasn't aware of the time it takes to refill the tank.
