I'm glad it's not there so that I don't scrape/cut my head hitting it on the way out.
You know Tesla would recess them into the interior trim. I imagine they would look similar to kind of a double sided 3/Y door handle that hinge outward. Maybe even an S door handle that comes straight out when you give it a boop, but it would be something recessed.

I would love them. I had an idea of removing the mid and upper speaker and using that area to install. Then the speakers could be moulded into the handle . Mid one right where it should go, upper one over 1.5" so it does not interfere with hand placement.

I don't need one for me but my elderly father has mobility issues and it would make it easier for him to get into the Cybertruck. I've resorted to purchasing other assistive devices that would be unnecessary if the CT had an ohsh!t bar.

Recently took a trip home and found my old folks would have benefited greatly from having them to get into the CT. I find myself needing them when I clean the top standing on the door way. Also used the bar a lot when I needed to transport multiple uniforms that won't all fit on hook in the back.

Hi all. Since reading this thread, I've been testing different options. A suction mount is the easiest option to install, but most look like they belong in a bathroom, they're white and quite bulbous. I've finally found an option that's all-black, and can fit on the windshield, as shown, or the sunroof, but I don't find that location particularly useful.

I'd welcome your thoughts, is this something worth stocking? I don't have pricing yet, it's volume-dependant, but assume something around $20, give or take. It does stick stupidly well, there's no concern with it detaching, it's an oh $hit bar that sticks like $hit. Each end rotates to pull in the suction pad.

Not super sure, but I don't see why not, once tint is on, it really cannot be removed other than by peeling from an edge. If I can find a spare bit of tint, will test.

It will likely fissure over time with repeated/regular use; but worth a shot testing the theory out!
