I am putting off my CT purchase until 2026. It will be fine tuned by then with a lower price point. Tesla is still in the ramp up phase and they are currently working through issues with the truck.

My wife’s coworker has a friend that works at Tesla is CA. The individual recommends delaying a CT purchase for a couple of years due to niggling ongoing issues. Take this advise with a grain of salt but I thought I would share.
What are these on going issues you speak of? I have had my CT for four months and have zero complaints with it.

Inverter failures, electric motor vibrations, wiper motor issues, software bugs, no FSD after eight months, plastic trim becoming detached, QC still not dialed in, loose interior bits, etc.

In a couple years I'll be trading my CT in for the roadster.

Sounds like all of the kind of things we’ve already heard wind that Tesla is already fixing, including upgrading some CT motors.
As long as they are rectifying any issues - great! Otherwise people wouldn’t be taking deliveries of this fine machine.

I think by now they are doing a good job with many of the issues reported earlier. My Ferrari had more gremlins the first year than any other car I have owned. I went thru my Beast with a fine toothed comb at SC. Other than the inside of the windshield having a film residue it was within tolerances. A lot can happen between now and 26…….why not buy a used one when prices tank.? Don’t miss the joy for that long.
