Anyone use Slippery Surfaces Setting yet?

Tried it today - wet roads / melted snow so not a great test but good traction with stock AT's....appeared to have less slip than when off & to have used both axles off the line- Not very scientific, need to give a try on snow but have to wait till tomorrow for that!

Yeah, Fort Collins Area it's been constant but nothing sticking on the roads, maybe 2 " on grassy areas, if that. Had a flight out of denver that was cancelled - denver south, east and west are getting hammered and I'd imagine Durango is as well!

Yeah we got beat up pretty good. but got sun today... and some melt. Purg opens this weekend!

Setting is awesome. It keeps the front motor always active and splits torque. Kinda sounds like the Tesla Semi with a low rumble when accelerating or decelerating - louder than normal. I use it every time it rains as you can never have too much traction.

do you have to set it every time or does it remember previous "on" setting?

Live near Steamboat Springs and we had snow on the roads here for a couple of weeks. I have Toyo snow tires on the truck. Using the slippery setting with the tires, the truck has been rock solid and I've seen plenty of folks off the road who probably hadn't put on their winter tires yet.

I live in Highlands Ranch, we got about 15”, roads were plowed, but an icy layer. Stock ATs are ok, but not good enough for the cabin. Put on a set of BFG AT KO3’s on Thursday. Got 18” or so at the cabin. Raised it up to extract mode, locked both axles and still had to backup twice and take another run to get up the driveway which is fairly steep, curved, and unplowed.

During the summer I like to use the slippery mode on the washboard gravel roads going up to the cabin, helps to maintain speed and not slow down too much based on limited traction over the washboard.

Why? Do you want to know if he brushed them off before he drove? I mean, it looks like daylight to me and the daytime running lights are at the hoodline.
