*His son.
No, she was correct. It never ceases to amaze me how people get off on purposefully saying sh*t like this. Like it somehow makes you better to kick down. You have an absolute right to say anything you want but It’s a sad reflection on our society that everyone has one life to live and they spend it proudly trying to hurt others. It’s kind of ironic you posted that in a thread where people are talking about all the negative reactions they’re getting for their truck. So the call is coming from inside the house now.

I don't really think it's because of Elon. In all the time I have talked to people no one mentioned Elon. I think it's mostly jealousy. Maybe because it's new and fancy and different. And it looks flashy. Also they know it's expensive and hard to get. And it's an EV too. So you add in a bunch of different things that makes some people mad. They might hate EVs.
I know it's not Elon because I've seen 6 people flip off the Cybertruck in 3.5 months. In 20 times that long, I've never seen anyone flip off any of our 3 other Tesla. If it was Elon, they would flip off all Tesla products. Anyone who thinks it's because of anything the CEO did are living in an alternate reality. It's because they are deeply insecure and have a lot of pent up hate and anger and the Cybertruck is challenging the status quo, which makes them feel unwell. The hate leaks out. If it was only drivers of small cars showing their insecurity, then I would figure it was because they feel the size of the Cybertruck threatens other road users. But it's coming from just as many drivers of large trucks, so it can't be that.

Should I start flipping off GM drivers because I disagree with Mary Barra? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Been on a road trip from SoCal to Northern Idaho. The further north we go the more polarizing the car seems to be. Had my first thumbs down from young teenage boys in Coeur d’Alene…gave them a hang loose back. One bird from a lifted truck towing something in Sandpoint, ID. Got a couple of middle fingers in deep NorCal near the Oregon border. Where possible I give them the hang loose back, otherwise I just ignore it. One exception was today. Was pulling out of a parking lot in Bend with my window down and some redneck started yelling and a gave a “f you and that f’in ugly truck…”. I just smiled and returned the compliment to him via my one finger salute and drove on my merry way. Not my finest moment, but I enjoyed it.

Always give a positive reaction to the haters, or ignore them. Either one denies them the satisfaction of having got to you. An enthusiastic thumbs up (y) with a happy smile works great.

I’m sorry but I don’t like in LA or NYC. I have been on four road trips in the three months that I have owned my CT and I have not had one comment, finger or rude expletive shouted at me. Mostly I have had “ that’s cool” or “ amazing looking car” “did you make that?” For me it has been 99% I like your car. The writer to me seems like a negative writer to be on the contrary side of Tesla. Probably has never driven one or been in a CT or he would have written how nice it really is to own a CT or any Tesla.
