I wanted a more organized way to store our snow skis in the truck bed and came up with this rack system out of wood, pipe and some various hardware including L-Track bolts. These attach by sliding into the L-track and tightening the wing nuts. When off they are small enough to store easily.

I realized I need to spray paint the pipe mounts to prevent the rust marks from the wet skis…

Nice build. Just need a boot heater mounted now with a 120v plug to get the family's boots warm as you pull up to park!

DAMN… you just cost me hours of mental gymnastics to figure that one out.

L-track is a standard that's used fairly widely. There is plenty of accessories available on Amazon and elsewhere

there’s a variety of premade L track accessories online and hardware and connections you can get on Amazon. I just figured out the length bolts I needed and ordered them on Amazon.

Great idea. Will be stealing this concept for next year. Modifying it for snowboards. And one pair of skis.

Very cool! I made something similar. Doesn't hold as many sets as yours, but can be used concurrently with the bed divider.

sweet! My skis were a little too long to make this work and have the tonneau close. Ideal position to preserve the storage. Nice job.
I keep all the family ski gear in two of the vault boxes and along with my third utility box (tire repair kit, air compressor and tools) it fits great. Obviously without the divider…
