So I installed thick metal roof racks on the cybertruck. I am trying to find any ski rack mounting system that will fit these bolts. There are holes where you can stick bolts about every 4 inches. The problem is, I can’t find any ski rack that would have a bolt down method to attach to the bars. Everything has a strap system or clamp system. But I feel these bars are too thick and the bottoms are not flat. Does anyone know of a ski rack that has adjustable mounts that can bolt down to my pre existing holes on my rack? Also, are there any downsides to putting a snowboard or skis on top of this rack? As far as the aerodynamics and the wind push?

Not sure of any solution, but I am currently skiing up in Vermont. I just put my skis in ski bags and throw them in the bed. We packed 3 large luggage bags and 4 smaller luggage bags, plus bags of food, cases of water, a backpack, snow shovel, and other miscellaneous gear. All fit in the bed nicely. And there was room to spare. No effect on drag or wind resistance obviously. And safely secured back there. Good thing too, cuz I caught some kid on sentry mode trying to open the vault (unsuccessfully) while I was on the slopes. No manners these days.

I would turn that footage into the managers and see if they can find out who it was and ban them from the park. You probably weren't the only one they tried that day.

OP: is there a specific reason you can't use the vault cargo area to pack everything?

I just have a lot of stuff in my bed that I use for work, and the boards and skis moved around a ton back there when turning and scratched up the edges a bit. I love to mount snowboards on top for quick loading and unloading and not getting the bed wet or my stuff that’s already in there.

That brand doesn’t understand the off-road truck market IMHO or they would have used extrusions to allow fitting of any other aftermarket product to them… those might be for looks only

I have a Urander rack system. Currently I am utilizing only the first third of the rack because I need the bed area open so that I can transport my dirt bikes. I picked up some ski racks at a garage sale and modified them to bolt onto the rack crossbars.
