I’m almost certain you’ll get recs on here for the sponsor made flip-up unit with the USB ports because it’s very popular, but I’ve tried that unit and hate it.
It’s not very intelligently conceived to have to flip everything upwards while full to access stuff through a smaller hole.
I’m a big fan of the spigen piece. It’s solid and feels high quality and there is a really well placed hole for wiring.

It’s a little pricier than some options but I feel like I got my moneys worth.

I got this one. It's inexpensive but very sturdy and very functional. The tray it's has 2 layers and you still have a huge space underneath the bottom tray.

I have the stock rubbery console tray and it is loaded with stuff, and constantly falls through its mounts.

Anyone know of a better third party option? Maybe something more rigid?

All in all I like the current design just not the material, which warps easily.

I saw this one but not sure how it compares.

I have the EXACT same problem and am also looking.

More than a little disappointed, as this is an OEM Tesla part. My limiting factor is I also have the safe in the console under the tray, so this limits the tray a little in depth.
Please Let me know if you find a good solution.

I bought the same one Hemi did (Spigen), and agree with his assessment. Tray works well, and has room for cables up front.

Also, I have an underseat safe not the center console one so I can’t say for sure, but it’s a pretty shallow design and should not get in the way of that safe. Maybe someone who has both can comment.
If it does, it comes from Amazon. You could always use Uncle Bezos’s generous but economically destructive return policy.

What can you fit in there to make it do that? Mine’s pretty full with keys, change, sunglasses, and a loaded gun and it’s never fallen through.

It’s been a while but I found it was a positioning thing when inserting and removing it. Not so much the weight/content. Sort of why I gave up on that particular piece of FS Tupperware.

You can solve it kinda with positioning but it's precarious and will fall in eventually even if you get it right

Exactly. To me that made it feel lower quality or poorly thought out/designed/tested. The kind of thing that’s easily correctable in a Tesla and gives it a much higher overall feel. There are definitely items like that in our model x too and a few well placed accessories can synergistically really improve the premium fit and finish thing I prefer in a car.

Like the Yeslak team, but just don’t jump in a say, “for sale”

Read the post and comment on how yours addresses the issue

is yours solid plastic? Does not fall in?
I apologize if I was too direct. I've seen your question and the product link you've shown. Our product is quite similar to what you've seen. Of course, I'd like to introduce our product to you. It's made from TPE material and is a hard storage box that gives you the added room to keep essentials like coins, wallets, phones, sunglasses, and ID cards neatly organized.
