After reading. I have never done that. I mean put it park on an offroad hill that would be loose or any potential for a slip like below. Then get out? leave it?Yeah, sorta off topic.
Have you noticed that if you have Trail Assist on and swipe to reverse you get 1 MPH, then when you swipe back to drive you get your original setting?

I could be wrong, but I think trail assist locks the torque up so there is no drop off post resume. Sorry for the folks that like to park on mountains I guess.
Tend to off road with others. In fact it has always been with others Never done like crazy trail work solo. Sure it might never happen until it does. Then watch it slide down the hill. I think it would be safest to always have someone behind the wheel in situations like that.
I also don't count general two track even in pretty steep stuff as offroading. That is driving.
