Using navigation to a location I can only reach approximately (within say 200 yards or so, haven't exactly measured it), I cancel nav when I am parked close enough. The cancel doesn't seem to take i.e., when I get back into the truck, nav is still attempting to guide me to where I am supposed to be. It doesn't bother me except that it continues to use power to try "get me there". I can press "cancel nav" all I want but as soon as I exit the vehicle and get back into it, nav is still active.
In these situations I am often gone for several hours to half a day, coming back to the truck with 2-5% less power. Again not (always) a big deal but I am skirting it pretty close sometimes. The only way to cancel the nav in this case seems to be to drive it further away from the destination, kill it can then come back to where I can park. This is not practical.
Seems weird is certainly annoying, cancel should be cancel. Anyone seen this, solutions?
