Center Console Behind Screen organizer

I received a Basenor Center Console Behind Screen organizer, it fit perfectly! It will be a great place to store my sunglasses, and other miscellaneous detritus that tends to accumulate on my commute and other road trips.

I like that it is nearly invisible behind the touch screen but remains highly accessible.

Just curious, although I'm assuming the answer is "no". Has that company tested that organizer with the passenger airbag deployment? Because its very close to the airbag in the dash. Anything in that, and the box itself might become a high speed projectile.

I have no idea what might happen with airbag deployment, but the airbags appear to fire from in front of the seats and under the console....

there doesn't appear to be one behind the touchscreen (which would also turn the screen into a potential projectile itself).

Since the organizer is fully behind the touchscreen I'm not going to worry about that particular "what if"....

The airbag fires up through the top of the dash cover, then expands towards the passenger. You can see the "cut line" if you look at the dash in front of the passenger at just the right angle. Thats going to expand and displace that area very close to the display.

I'm just pointing out that its a risk. You seem comfortable with that risk. You do you.
