Retirement's been a blast with this truck—I've been living out of the bed on road trips, camping, fishing, you name it. One thing that's saved my back a bunch is a bed slider. Those vault sides are tall, and when stuff slides all the way forward (coolers, toolboxes, whatever), it's a pain to reach without climbing in or doing that awkward lean-over-the-tailgate move.
I got tired of it and built my own simple one in an afternoon for right around $130. Just 1/2" plywood, some hinges so it folds when I want the full bed open, a bunch of casters lined up to roll in the bed grooves, and a couple coats of sealer so it doesn't swell up when it gets wet.
Stuff I used:
* Hinges: https://a.co/d/920Ojzq
* Casters: https://a.co/d/inuwd5H
* Thompson's WaterSeal: https://a.co/d/f8RY3Up
If this isn't for you, the Fruble slide is the gold standard: https://fruble.co/products/cyberslide
