Charge port door sensor fault. Is there a way to fix this issue? Or do I need to schedule a service appointment?

I got the same issue, its been there a few day and it gone. I think because I parked outside and it’s freezing.

Probably about a week for me. Will see if it resolves itself.

Mind did, but you can schedule service just to make sure. It’s free under warranty
Mine shows on the app that the charge port door is open but it's closed when I check the truck.

If it's potentially frozen, the manual says:

Note
In extremely cold weather or icy conditions, it is possible that your charge port latch may freeze in place. If this happens, you can thaw ice on the charge port latch by turning on the rear defrost or by enabling preconditioning using the mobile app. To prevent this from occurring, use the Schedule settings, which are also available on both the charging and climate control screens, to schedule a Precondition by (see Preconditioning).

Same thing happened to me. Mobile service came out and replaced it and works like a charm again.

Hasn't been that cold here. In the 50s the other day.
