Serious Question.... I've looked in the manual, and I've looked online; I still have not found a definitive weight limit on how much can still on the tailgate in the open position. I'm 225 and I'm looking to haul a boatload of cinder blocks from a site that has them scattered everywhere, so I'll have to load them in the bed by hand. Naturally, I plan on standing on the ground, loading them up on the tailgate, then hopping up on the tailgate to shift the cinder blocks forward into the bed. 10 blocks (~40lb/ea) is about 400lbs, plus my weight together approaches 650lbs. How much more capacity will I have? Can I load more on the tailgate? Less?
