Amongst my friends what I get is "that weird looking thing and that thing is ugly. They and the rest of the world around me have no clue of what you get with a Cybertruck. Recently the breakfast discussion centered around traffic accidents and accidents avoided by Tesla's eight cameras all connected to a supercomputer controlling the actions of the driving actions of the car. Shouldn't a person want that? y'all have seen the posts on this platform where the CT owner and kids survived a horrific 60 mph T-bone. I was having my 21 Y re-ceramic coated when the shop owner of the auto detailing shop raved about how tough the CT was in a similar accident.
Other features they don't see:
Stressless driving with FSD, just tell tell it where you want to go and when you pull out the driveway engage FSD, it figures out the route and takes you there.
More stressless driving on the interstates and freeways, it changes lanes for you, watches all the cars around you ahead AND behind you and takes actions to prevent accidents .
With rearwheel steering you get easier parking in those narrow parking lanes in stores and malls. (Give me a fact check on that please)
It is a truck that you can load up with bags of mulch and whatever..
Ride comfort with with air suspension
Quite ride with sound isolation windows and noise cancellation.
your gas station is in your garage, stop going out of your way to gas up.
And the list goes on and on

Even without all the positives you listed, I bought it because I thought it was a good looking vehicle. I also think square vehicles are butt ass ugly, but here we are.. It's all in the eye of the beholder.

A lot of good stuff under the hood. I still wish the truck was more conventionally styled. I wouldn't still be on the fence about one. I love my other Teslas.

As for the noise cancellation, does it actually work? It is on my refreshed S, and it doesn't seem to do anything and never has. I toggled it on and off, used a decibel meter, and no difference at all.

There are 241 million motorists in the USA, according to the Federal Highway Administrattion.

I would bet that less than 0.1% of those have ever driven a Cybertruck. That's less than one in a thousand motorists!

It is "styling" for sure, and I like it. It needs to get more common place to gain acceptance. I just hate to see the CT flop, as many people are predicting..

Cybertruck fan and owner here. But is active noise cancellation really a feature? I keep hearing about it but I haven’t seen any settings in the UI nor do I think it’s active. My model 3 refreshed highland is quieter…what’s yalls final verdict? Can anyone find it in the UI?

I would like to know about this and try it without on and off. On my S it seems to do absolutely nothing. I've used a sound level meter and it shows no difference. If the CT has it, an actually works, I'd love to see the difference.
