One of the first things I noticed with some of the Amazon or weird website orders for the CT was that there was a lot of problems with the basic accessories you buy, and I didn't see a thread here regarding this so I thought I would share some tips and fixes with my CT so far and some easy resolutions:
Sun Shade by @Teslaunch :
So when I first received my vehicle I was using RV sun shades and I saw the umbrella shades for the CT online and I did order both, but they both sucked and I tossed them out. If you are looking for a good sunshade that feels like a BMW or Porsche sunshade, buy the one below at the link. It is hard to use at first and super stiff (like really stiff!) but once you get the folding pattern down and realize how good the fit is... You won't go back, this is a must by IMO if you live somewhere hot.

Handle Storage by @BestEvMod(AOSK) :
These inserts aren't 3D printed (they look and feel like they were injection molded, at least when I bought them 20 days ago), and they fit well in the door but they cause vibration while driving, the fix or "mod" to this is to apply weather stripping tape all over the inserts (second link below):
Door handle link for amazon:
Amazon.com: BestEvMod 4PCS Front&Rear Door Handle Storage Organizer Compatible with Tesla Cybertruck 2024+ Interior Accessories Inner Door Side Organizer Insert Tray Box with PVC Trim Lines Injection Molded : Automotive
Tape to fix vibration with door inserts:
Get some of this weather striping and wrap it around the whole handle insert (4), I know you think it will stick out or protrude on the door but it really won't... Here is the link to the what I used (b/c a mothafucka loves some silence in his truck, it do be dat wey sumtimes):
Armacell 2 in. x 30 ft. R-1 Foam Insulation Tape TAP18230 - The Home Depot
(looks dirty, but that's life bros)
Center Console Storage by @BestEvMod(AOSK) :
For the center console storage I purchased the same one as you guys probably purchased off of amazon:
Amazon.com: BestEvMod Center Console Under LCD Screen Organizer Compatible with Tesla Cybertruck 2024+ Accessories Magnet Install No Tape Needed Pickup Lower LCD Storage Box (Flocked) : Automotive
There was a couple of issues with this at first, the #1 issue is that it wasn't strong enough to hold ANYTHING or even itself up with stuff stored in the center console, and #2 everything flies out from the center storage console when you take off fast.
Fix #1
Drill two tiny holes on each side of the console and reinforce it with (50lb) picture hanging wire and tape it over with some black tape to hide it. (thread the wire to the top and twist it with some needle nose plyers and then put a piece of tape on it:
Cord link:
OOK 50 lbs. 9 ft. Durasteel Stainless Steel Hanging Wire 50114 - The Home Depot
(image shown with tape over the twisted cord)
Fix#2
To stop things (or most things) from flying out of the center storage, use some weather stripping tape again but the thin one: Frost King 3/4 in. x 7/16 in. x 10 ft. Black High-Density Rubber Foam Weatherstrip Tape R734H - The Home Depot
Phone Insert:
This was the basic insert I ordered off of amazon, it works well and is like all the others, I recommend buying this if you have an iPhone, it still overheats but not as fast and it's not a fix but it's decent and does part of the job:
Amazon.com: LUCKEASY for Tesla Cybertruck 2023 2024 Wireless Charger Mat Car Center Console Auto Interior Anti-Slip Protector Pad Cybertruck Auto Interior Accessories Black : Automotive
Vibrating Door Storage fix:
So when I first purchased my CT I noticed that anything in the doors would make noise and it was very (super fucking) annoying, so I implemented the fix on my BMW M4 to resolve this, the M4 basically has "loop" padding in all the storage areas (the soft spongey side of velcro essentially).
So with a hobby utility knife (I want to say these were called exacto knives, back in my day, also GET OFF MY LAWN!!!) measure and cut the "loop" piece and stick it into the door, below is the link and pics (dirty I know) of how I did it (for both doors):
Velcro Link:
Amazon.com: SOURRI 4'' x 20Ft Large Hook and Loop Sheet Tape Fastener, Self Adhesive Heavy Duty Strips, Keep Couch Cushions from Sliding, Rug Grip Tape & Pads : Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Gun Storage:
I wanted a place to store a firearm (Glock G19, for my AZ and TX peeps), without it falling and I don't trust double stick tape, I don't care what the weight rating is for the tape or what not (it's not for me) ... So this was my solution:
Amazon.com: DINGDOON Double-Sided Gun Magnet Mount, Nondestructive Installation Magnetic Handgun Holster in Vehicle, Car, Cashier, Safe, Tactical Pistol Holder for Concealment Compatible with Revolver : Sports & Outdoors
I used a magnetic gun mag mount and two long zip ties to tie the mag down to the driver side "front seat post" I dont know the name but it worked out well, I have kicked and moved the firearm and it has never pulled off the mount:
