I dont like the UI used in the S & X, kinda dated. I traded in my Model X Plaid for a Cyberbeast. I guess I just love the 📐
😂
Every once in a while you think, let’s check out what’s new and compare

Btw Cybertruck was designed in 2019, 7 years ago

two brand new vehicle designs, 2026

90 min demo drive R2, actually not bad, little cheap feel inside, nice vehicle engineering, agile, BUT terrible UX, no FSD

90 min demo drive Lucid Gravity Grand Touring, insane rated range, waaay to heavy, terrible UX, terrible safety UC, no FSD

fun, get in my wife’s Y and daughter’s 3, amazing vehicles all around

just can’t compare anything to a Tesla
Whole experience, ecosystem, look, design, safety, range

And worst, they Rivian and Lucid did not study Teslas safety UX and in vehicle UX, use as a baseline and make theirs better, nooooo they didn’t

the Cybertruck never ceases to amaze my family

I get it, I would only own an S or an X if the 3 and Y didn't exist. I know some people don't understand this but to me a car is not a "feather in my cap", it's something I use and I want the ones that make me the happiest.

The Cybertruck was unveiled in late 2019. I would say it was designed mostly in 2019-2022. To me "design" is more about the engineering and development, not the concept. And the Cybertruck was mostly just a concept in 2019. Yes, they had real prototypes you could drive, but they were nothing like what was released, beyond the unique look.

The S/X are great super EVs with straight line performances that are off the chart. But they are just too big to be easily toss around in town or the twisties.
Both of the redesigned MYP and M3P are amazing feats of engineering. True pocket rockets. Compact, highly maneuverable, stupid fast, handles brilliantly with their active suspension and super supportive sport bucket seats, plus they use the latest Tesla UIs. I ordered the MY L because it has all the attributes of the MYP plus a good sized 3 row and lots of cargo spaces. Looks fantastic for an after thought stretched out MY. Did I mentioned that it has the only 2nd row captain's seat with powered arm rest, power adjustments, heating/ventilation and folds flat!
